How is this surgery done?

Blepharoplasty surgery can be performed under general or local anesthesia. Both upper and lower eyelid surgery can be performed at the same time. How is the post-surgery process?

If the patient is operated under local anesthesia, the patient is discharged on the same day, 1 day later under general anesthesia. The suture marks are hidden in the upper eyelid pit and 2 mm under the lower eyelashes and are not noticed after the healing is completed. Stitches are removed in 5-7 days. Patients can return to work life in an average of 7-10 days. Although the swelling varies from person to person, it completely disappears within a maximum of 1 month. Bruises may occur in the first week.
