ARM LIFT AND THIGH LIFT

What is the purpose of these surgeries? Why is it applied?

Patients who are candidates for arm or thigh lift are usually loosened or sagging due to genetic or environmental reasons, so the problem is not whether there is excess fat or not. Moreover, when there is excess fat, this situation can be solved with liposuction, but the problem here is the skin and it is necessary to remove this excess skin.

Can't it be done without removing the skin?

If the patient has a slight slack and it is predicted that there will be sagging when only liposuction is applied to the patient, there are 2 ways to follow. First of all, as I mentioned before, if the patient does not want to have a stretching surgery, it is possible to get results by tightening the skin with the help of devices such as laser or j plasma in such a limited patient.

Where does the scar stay and is it a bad scar?

In the arm lift surgery, a horizontal scar is left on the inner part of the arm and a vertical scar is left on the inner part of the thigh, in the arm lift technique, it remains on the lower part of the arm and is not visible from the opposite side and when the arms are open.

What is the post-surgery process?

After the surgery, the sutures are used as a special dissolving under the skin and are followed for 1 week without opening the special tapes. During this period, the limbs should be kept especially elevated and it is recommended to use a corset that will reduce swelling for 3-4 weeks.
