According to the patient's preference, it is an operation that takes approximately 30 minutes under local or general anesthesia. A part of the “buccal fat pad” fat pads is removed with an incision made through the mouth. Sometimes, it may be necessary to add cheekbone filling to this surgery. The operation is permanent .
How is it after the surgery?
You can be discharged on the same day after the surgery. It is recommended to feed with liquid soft foods for the first 2-3 days. On the first day, cold application is beneficial for swelling. The patient can return to his social life the next day, but there will be some swelling in the first week. The patient sees the effect after the operation, but the real result occurs within the first 6 months.
